Weddings And Phantoms

Going to keep the newest blog addition kind of short. This is going to be a busy week for me. Not only do I have to bake and supply the store for the weekend (Thurs thru Sunday) but I have a wedding. One of my favorite niece's is getting married this Saturday...
...and not only am I making her cupcake wedding cake (red velvet and Black Forest cupcakes) but I am also being the officiant at their wedding! A first for me. This should be fun. So, that will consume a lot of my time this week.This week in the store in addition to the "usual" stuff - we'll have some red velvet whoopie pies, pumpkin tartlets, more Halloween hand-decorated cookies, etc.
PHANTOM UPDATE! I heard back from the producer who originally contacted me in July. She said they are still in the process of taping the "bakery show" and it will be "at least 3 weeks" before it airs. She asked that I check back in a few weeks with her and she can probably give me a more definite date. As soon as I find that out, I will post it for you. She said she was very happy I could be included in the show as she thought my store was "just great".
