New Year's Eve

Happy new year to everyone! Hope you all had a great holiday season.
The holiday season at the store was great. Met some wonderful new people and had a great time selling cookies, gingerbread people, etc.
At the suggestion (again!) of my friends at FlexCon, we are introducing a new cookie for the new year - oatmeal chocolate chip. They frequently come into the shop and one of the ladies asks for an oatmeal cookie "with the least amount of raisins". Of course, I have made oatmeal cookies in the past without raisins but most of my customers like them with. But in our conversation, they suggested putting in chocolate chips instead. Today, December 31, 2008, we will present our new cookie and see how she flies!
Then, I am taking some time off to recharge my batteries. Ooma's Cookie Jar will be closed from January 1 thru January 13, reopening on Wednesday, January 14 at 8:30 a.m. We hope you will stop by and say hello.
Also, we will soon be gearing up for the Valentine's Day holiday. If you have any special requests, please get them in early. Of course, we can personalize a heart cookie for your "sweetie" - just give us a couple of days notice.
We will have an assortment of hand decorated heart cookies with cute sayings on them, as well as our traditional sugar cookie sandwich heart with raspberry filling. Oh, yum! This is a fav of many. Get any orders in early.
